IRCC Lifts Job Offer Requirement

Employer offering job, businessman extending employment agreement

Working Holiday candidates no longer need to submit a job offer to receive an ITA! As an IEC participant, you can now travel to Canada if you have a port of entry letter of introduction given that you are fully vaccinated.

If you aren’t fully vaccinated, you will still need proof of a valid job offer.

For other foreign nationals, you will likely be allowed to enter Canada; however, the final determination will be made by a government official at the port of entry given you Meet all of the entry and proof requirements for fully vaccinated travellers and accompanying children
